Öğretmenimiz 1932 yılında Ordu'nun Ulubey ilçesi Eymür köyünde dünyaya gelmiştir. Abdullah Hoca, tüm bu maceralı ve dopdolu hayatını eşiyle birlikte yaşamıştır ve eserine de aslında "iki öğretmen varmış oralarda" desek daha doğru olur, diyor. Eserinin ilk bölümünde, eşine olan vefa duygusunu ve üzerinde emeği geçenleri yâd ediyor. Daha sonra asıl bizim konumuz olan, azimle geçen ve halen devam etmekte olan 77 yıllık bir hayatı sunuyor bizlere.
